Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Chaos Rising is an real-time strategy video game developed by Relic Entertainment and published by THQ. It is scheduled to be released on Spring 2010 for M$ Windows.

Chaos Space Marines will be introduced in the game and all the races in the previous game (Space Marines, Eldar, Orks and Tyranids) will be given new units.

Footage and trailers imply that the game will take place on an ice-covered planet called Aurelia. In the trailer, Gabriel Angelos explains Aurelia has been lost in the Warp for thousands of years, but has now reappeared, with signs of life on the surface. The trailer then goes on to show clips of combat between Space Marine and renegade Chaos Space Marines. As the trailer ends, a Chaos Space Marine in Terminator armor, bearing the colors of the Black Legion, charges out and roars the game's tagline: "Your slavery to the False Emperor ends today!"

A second, extended trailer was released, with extended footage. Bloodletters, Bloodthirster of Khorne, along with several Plague Marines (evident from disease-like clouds surrounding the Chaos Space Marines) have been revealed. Towards the end of the trailer, the same Chaos Terminator Space Marine appears, possibly the Commander for this campaign, and repeats the game's tagline, albeit slightly more calmer and slower, along with an interesting statement. "Rejoice, brothers! Your slavery to the False Emperor ends today!" This statement, along with several similar facts that have appeared in other games and novels in the franchise, give rise to a hypothesis that the Blood Ravens chapter is a loyalist splinter of a Traitor Legion.

It has been confirmed that the Chaos Space Marine Commanders are Eliphas the Inheritor, from Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, and newcomer Araghast the Pillager

o Hard Drive: 6.5 GB of uncompressed Hard Drive space
o Other Requirements: Online play requires log-in to Games For Windows – Live
